The auction is a great opportunity to view and purchase art by Ireland’s top artists and help two amazing charities at the same time. The Chernobyl Children’s Trust works in Chernobyl-affected Belarus, and the Moses Foundation supports programmes in Uganda and Swaziland.
The event is being supported by one of Ireland’s favourite celebrity chefs, Rachel Allen, who has extended an open invite to attend.
She said: ‘It is my very great pleasure to invite you to a unique showing of hitherto unseen art.
‘Some of Ireland’s top artists have produced some amazing pieces and despite the tough economic climate, will donate half of the proceeds of their work to two very worthy charities, Chernobyl Children’s Trust and the Moses Foundation. Both of these charities work tirelessly to improve the lives of children and families, who suffer hunger and illness that is almost beyond our comprehension. By supporting this auction, you will help these charities continue their wonderful work. You will also be supporting Irish artists who continue to showcase to the world, Ireland’s amazing wealth of talent. This is also a unique opportunity to purchase valuable art at exceptionally competitive prices. I am delighted to support this special event and I appeal to you to come along and see this showcase of excellent Irish art and help two great children’s charities.’
