Calling all healthcare professionals

by Guy Hiscott

The Astellas Changing Tomorrow Awards encompass the first award system in Ireland that is open to any kind of professional working in the field of health, including dentists, nurses, support staff, medical researchers and scientists, as well as people working in patient advocacy groups and professional organisations and associations.

Astellas has launched this new initiative in Ireland to identify and reward those in healthcare who endeavour to deliver an outstanding service for their patients, as often these vital efforts can go unnoticed.

Speaking at the launch, Patricia Kelly, general manager of Astellas Pharma Co Ltd, said: ‘We hear about so many inspiring healthcare projects being undertaken throughout Ireland – work that is really changing tomorrow for patients. As a company, we wanted to reward and recognise these amazing people who are doing a truly fantastic job’.

The winners of each category will receive a trophy to signify their achievement plus a €1,000 educational/research grant.
