Irish Dentistry Awards 2016: the countdown begins
by Guy Hiscott
The 2015 Irish Dentistry Awards was more than a night to remember – it was a step forward in the right direction for the Irish dental profession.
With big wins, glamorous guests, new categories and primetime viewing on national TV, this year’s awards tipped the scale.
But it’s time to take it one step further, as we introduce even more new categories and refresh old ones in a bid to recognise and reward the oustanding achievements of dental professionals across the Republic and Northern Ireland.
New categories
New for 2016 is Irish Dentistry’s Rising Star Award, recognising a student or newly qualified dentist under 30 who has shown significant achievement in their career to date.
Also new this year are Best High Technology Practice, Best Referral Practice, Most Improved Practice, Best Child Friendly Practice and Best Treatment of Nervous Patients.
Read more about the 2016 categories and guidelines on our dedicated awards site here. The guidelines have been put together after an extensive review of the categories from the judging panel and awards team.
