The Northern Ireland branch council has also put together a programme of lectures and social events throughout 2015 providing learning and networking opportunities for all dental professionals.
The year will see six evening lectures with a broad range of speakers, including the new cannon lecture in September and a shorter spot each evening on a current topic.
April will see a Gourmet Evening event at James Street South Restaurant in Belfast, as well as summer golf and a masquerade ball returning in November.
Launching the 2015 programme, Philip Henderson said: ‘It is such an honour to be at the forefront of the profession as president of BDA Northern Ireland. I am immensely proud of the contribution that dentistry makes to modern society both for our patients and the whole profession.’
