ISDC call for competition submissions

by Guy Hiscott

The Irish Society of Dentistry for Children (ISDC) has issued an invitation for submissions for this year’s O’Mullane prize.

Entry is open to any person associated with the provision or organisation of dental care for children in Ireland.

The prize will be awarded to the individual judged to have best presented on any topic related to the provision of dental care to children. Presentations may include technique description, audit, case report, literature review, research or service organisation.

The winner will receive a €250 cash award and complimentary registration for the IDA’s annual scientific meeting, and the O’Mullane prize medal will be awarded at the event.

Finalists will be selected by the ISDC scientific committee based on submission of an abstract by 8 April 2011.

Finalists must present their papers at the IDA’s annual scientific meeting in May, which is being held in the Strand Hotel, Limerick.
